I work primarily in oils and acrylics, exploring the interplay between what I intend to paint and what actually happens when brush meets canvas.

About
I am exploring the intersection of creative cognition and embodied practice through painting.
My subjects tend toward the ordinary—objects from daily life, reflections in water, moments that catch my attention. My work has been featured in Volume 16 of the Edge Zine, an art publication showcasing work and providing insights into the process of contemporary art practices, and on the Open College of the Arts' #WeAreOCA blog.
When I am not painting, I work as a professor of behavioural science and lead the behavioural science and creative insights (BeSCI) research group.
