I work primarily in oils and acrylics, exploring the interplay between what I intend to paint and what actually happens when brush meets canvas.

About
I am exploring the intersection of creative cognition and embodied practice through painting.
My subjects tend toward the ordinary—objects from daily life, reflections in water, moments that catch my attention.
When I am not painting, I work as a professor of behavioural science and lead the behavioural science and creative insights (BeSCI) research group.
